Publishing activity of the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation began in 2003, with the historical monograph “Andreas Miaoulis (1769 – 1835): From enslaved to free Greece”.

It was followed by four editions, publications of the proceedings of seminars organized by Kaiti Laskaridou Library between 2004 and 2009, seminars that attracted the interest of both scholars and the learned reading public in general.

In the same year the collective album “Stone-built Lighthouses: Tainaro and Maleas” was completed; it is a product of the Foundation’s efforts to advertise those important monuments of our cultural heritage after their full restoration and renovation undertaken and completed by the Foundation.

Capstone of our publishing activities has been the decision of Professor Emmanuel Kriaras to entrust the publications of three of his works to the Foundation.

The most recent book, presenting the 20 most important shipwrecks of the greek seas, with text and photographs was published in February 2015.

The aim of our publishing activity is for every book published by the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation, to most adequately meet both scholastic and aesthetic standards.
